The Floor Build Up

The under carpet heaters are sandwiched between a high quality PET reinforced aluminium foil, ensuring even heat distribution and downward minimising heat loss. 

 

The top layer is designed for optimal radiation, providing consistent and efficient carpet heating. Installed as a dry application the heating element sits on the underfelt or foam overlay beneath the carpet, with the underlay acting as an insulator to enhance efficiency. It is recommended that the carpet does not exceed 2.4 tog as this will reduce the effectiveness of heating.
